Hi, I’m Ash — the founder of Alkinaa. I grew up on the east coast of New South Wales in Coffs Harbour, where my days were shaped by beach sunsets, long walks along the shoreline, and quality time with friends and family. The name Alkinaa comes from the street I grew up on, and it carries that sense of home, memory, and connection into everything I create.

As a plus-size woman, I often felt like I couldn’t find what I was looking for in fashion. I wanted pieces that felt refined and elevated, but also adaptable — clothing that moves with you, honours your body, and supports you through the natural changes we all go through.

That’s why I created Alkinaa.

I design with evolution in mind — not just trends. Each piece is thoughtfully created to complement your body as it is, with adjustability at its core, so you can feel comfortable, confident, and like yourself in every season of life.

Alkinaa is more than clothing to me. It’s a space for self-love, acceptance, and genuine connection. In a world that can feel overwhelming and overstimulating, I want this brand to feel calm, supportive, and grounding — something you can come back to.

I work in small, intentional batches with trusted suppliers, using premium materials that align with my purpose: to create pieces that feel as good as they look, and that last.
